Yur-jāt akhawui ngashan khaleiwuivang eina “RIYAN” kharāna kala riyan khaleiwuivang eina “SHIYAN-CHIKAN” khangavāna.   2. Marun (Jan-Feb) Luilum thuiuda (lam lumsang haoda) maamaji-paimaji ngaleili marunda lingkasang atam sāhaoda `MARUN’ kachāng kahona.
  3. Mayo (Feb-March) Ngalei lumphok haoda luilum thuiuda thingnā rahā shonshokta mayokaphokwui vang ‘Mayo’ kachāng kahona.
  4. Khaying (March-April) Thingnā rahā mayoserhaoda lam mayingrik kahaiwuivang “KHAYING” kachāng kahona.
  5. Kharam (April-May) Kaphung-kaphā yakhari mayingrik kharar-ngahong, lam khangachā azak unghaoda ‘KHARAM’ kachāng kahona
  6. Magha (May-June) Luisao-luishom kumkhawui zākhavai heiun ngahei kasang, ngasam kakhui atam masamphangla chotchānglāk eina ot sāshonshonhaoda phasā, yāng sāmagha khamiwuivang `MAGHA‘ kachang kahona.
  7. Marang (June-July) Yāngvir shokuda phasā chinaipān ngapān unghaoda yāng pangshap tarang ungphok haoda `MARANG’ kachāng kahona.
  8. Phei (July-Aug) Luili shomsang kahai tharāzāt aphei nganing khuiuda Phei kachāng kahona.
  9. Pi (Aug-Sep) Lingsangkahai theishirai kala shomsangkahai maa āzak theiuda shiri-shirā kala lamwui sāyur-vāyurna masāmashātkhavai luiii mayon kapiwuivang ‘PI’ kachāng kahona.
  10. Tātharāhā (Sept-Oct) Māthei-haoyāngwui atam, luiyam zaikora maa tharara tharāzātwui theiuda mayiryaikahai apān mik ngayamlāk, ning hortarārik eina yangngaishonshon, ningyāng unglākhaoda `TATHARAHA’ kachāng kahona.
  11. Ngaphei (Oct-Nov) Zingkum peida chotchānglāk kahai heithei māhāt atamli eina sāsang/vāsang kazip kakhui māhā/ringphālāk ningyāng unglākhaoda, maa ritreirei phungung ngaroklaga pamngaretli ungngasamkhui khangarok thārān ringkaphā phongshok ngarokta khuikaphung hanrom kala zamkhor pheishok ngaroklaga pheizā/mimang ngarok kajiwuivang `NGAPHEI’ kachāng kahona.   12. Khayon (Nov-Dec) Chumpha phanit kuphaoda maa kadhar zaphokuda zayonyon kazāwuivang `KHAYON’ kachāng kahona.

Season

Tangkhul wungram mibingna zingkum akhali kachāng 12 (tharāda khani) leiyada tonglākta mahaimana.  Zingkumwui shongzā, zingyat, zinghām, zingrot athishurda shamlāk eina 2 (khani) shida zur kachāng kala kānrei kachāngda khaiya.  Lāngmeida Shāheb (English)wui mibingna Season 4 (mati) khalei thāda Tangkhulla Awo Ayi thotwui eina leipapama, chiya;

  1. Si kachāng (Winter Season):- Khayon, Tharao kala Marun (Dec, Jan kala Feb)
  2. Mayo kachāng (Spring Season):- Mayo, Khaying kala Kharam (March, April kala May)
  3. Yāngyir kachāng (Summer Season):- Magha, Marang kala Phei (June, July kala Aug)
  4. Māthei haoyāng kachāng (Autumn Season):- Pi, Tātharāha kala Ngaphei (Sept, Oct kala Nov)
